It;s beginning to liik alot like Christmas

I absolutely love Christmas it is my favorite time of the year!! We had a little Christmas party complete with Christmas music and gingerbread houses! So Ramz has never completely shared my love of Christmas but now that our kids are getting older he seems to be getting into the holiday spirit. Last night he popped popcorn made a fire ( we have a real wood fireplace and I LOVE it) made some hot chocolate and we watched a Charlie Brown Christmas. I have yet to make him fall in love with the movie White Christmas but I will continue to try, it is my favorite. "Snow- Snow- Snow- Snow- Snooooow"( You have to know the tune for that to make sense)
I think my favorite Christmas movies are

1- White Christmas
2- A Muppet Christmas Carol (love it)
3- Christmas Vacation
4-A christmas movie (the leg lamp one)
5-It's a wonderful Life
6-Home Alone (what I do)
7-How the grinch stole Christmas
8-Elf

I don't know if they are in the right order but I just love Christmas movies!

Seriously this kid drives me crazy he will be smiling and laughing and the second I get the camera out he looks down, Anyway he had fun decorating.

I made this hat for Lily while on the phone with Jade so she wanted to see a picture...Kinda funny but whatever
And I was so excited to fit her hair in Pig Tails Yeahhhh!! So we can't be home for Christmas and I am so sad but we get to go to Mike and Shannon's house in Ontario (only 8 hours away) we are so excited! we leave on Saturday for 2 weeks yeaaaahhh. We won't be in Raymond or Lethbridge but we are excited to be with Family for the Holidays! Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

Yaayyy for Emily (12-18-08)

So we got our first visitor in Lexington! EMILY came to visit and it was so fun! I had to drive all the way to Ohio to pick her up and my trip there is a blog post all in itself (a 3and a half hour trip took me almost 8 hours ahhh my life) anyway once I actually picked her up it was so fun. We pretty much wore PJ's all weekend and Ramsey cooked us yummy dinners, it was great.

We were in a project mood and so my house was covered in tuele and ribbon, but Lily and Layla will sure look cute in their tutu's!!

One of the hardest things about this move has been moving so far from Em and Tom. In LaGrande we were only 2 1/2 hours from them and we saw each other all the time, I miss that so much and I miss her kids. Growing up Emily and I always had a love Hate relationship well we always loved each other but man could we fight (always over stupid things like clothes) but we were always quick to heal. Now I can proudly say that we are still best friends and have cut out the crazy fighting and have a love love relationship, I miss my big sis, so thanks for coming to visit Em come back and I'll make you another double decker chocolate cake!!!

Luke always has the sweetest poses and I swear I didn't pose him he was chilin watching some show like this, he is so funny.

I tried to take some cute pics of Lily but all she wanted to do was play with the decorations. And She is Walking!!!! My baby is walking and I tell her that she is not allowed and she does anyway the little stink, She is not allowed to be turning one!

Every kid Loves Santa (12-18-08)

The funny thing is that I think I have this same picture of me as a little kid with Santa, HAhaha

Every day CrAzInEsS(12-2-08)

Has anyone figured out how to STOP these children from growing? Lily is just growing too fast and I want to freeze her for a while. On the other hand Luke can just go right ahead and grow out of the phase he is in right now. I love him he's the best!! but it takes us like an hour to get out of the house cause he never wants his coat on or he wants different shoes or I tie his shoe's wrong (yes he has a bit of OCD) Any of these things can lead to a full scale meltdown. That's why he's hardly in any pictures ( I try I swear) but whenever I get the camera out he comes over to me to look. Or he has taken to looking down and refusing to look at the camera, so what can ya do. So anyway here are some new pics of the kiddies, The Grandma's were not understanding the picture of the PBJ. Well to explain my brand of humor...I just thought it would be funny. Everyone always has these close up pictures on their blogs of these masterpiece's that they have either baked or sewn, so I thought I would show what I've been making hahaha. IT WAS A JOKE!! Anyway I'm back to the kids now!

Look it saves on laundry! wash the kid and the clothes at the same time! It was Lily's idea she couldn't resist joining Luke in the Tub.

I love Luke's little stance here

Thank's for the coat mom and Soph, We will never lose her!

This is Lily's new favorite thing to do! And she does it 50 times a day

crust or no crust

So I was looking for some new recipe's the other day cause I was bored with my cooking and I found this great idea "HERE" super easy and bonus...Super FUN!!! I call it a PBJ (peanut butter and jelly)
All you need are these few ingredients.
I just spread the peanut butter on one side of bread...spread Jam (any flavor) on the other piece of bread, put the 2 pieces together, and your done. Your only decision now is to leave the crust on or cut them off! Luke prefers them off...Enjoy!!!

(For anyone who is thinking "huh Jacklyn has lost it" I just thought I would make Lindsay laugh today...first person to walk on the moon, you always get me HAHAHA)

just randon this and that (11-18-08)

So since Ramsey has been home alot more than usual these days he has started cooking, and I must say it is it a bit of heaven. Luke loves cooking with him and he will say "Come on daddy let's make the chicken!" And can we say TWINS in this picture...they even stand the same haha

I just love the Bumbo's

This has become one of our daily routines "making the white tent" Oh to be a kid again when a blanket across 2 couches makes your day!! We have even had to eat lunch in the white tent...it's a hit!

Apparently so is eating diaper cream...gross...yet she is still smiling!

Thanks for the new dress Mom and Sophie I especially love the pink tights!

So I am wishing I was home this weekend so that All of us girls could go to a certain movie together. I am in need of a GNO but I am going with some girls out here so that will be fun. Soph it won't be the same without you but what can ya do! Oh yah isn't Luke getting so big!! And Elise this pear picture is in honor of you and your grandma's good ol pear tree!!

Peabody ducks (11-12-08)

Ok this is kind of random but when we first moved to Little Rock Ramsey was trying to find us things to do and he looked on this website of free things to do in the city. He read about the famous "Peabody Ducks" (they're really famous I promise they were on Oprah...soo yah). It's at the Peabody hotel and they have these ducks that come out every morning at like 11:00. But they don't come out any normal way...they ride down this big glass elevator and walk out onto a red carpet. No joke it was hilarious the red carpet leads them into this little pond, well sort of a pond. They do it everyday and there was this guy with a top hat and cane that led them out, they have done it for years and years, I think since the depression. Needless to say Luke absolutely loved it and he wanted to ride in the elevator after. So anyway this was a couple of months ago but I thought it was funny.

Happy Halloween (11-01-08)

Well here are some pictures of Halloween at our house. Luke and I carved this "Punkin" and it started out with lot's of teeth but i'm not such a skilled carver and they fell out.

This picture of Ramsey and Luke is actually a picture of Luke trick or treating hahaha. He had worn his Ninja costume all day and by six when it was time to go out he was sick of it and would not wear it anymore. So instead of trick or treating him and Ramz read Are you my mother (his favorite book) about nineteen times. I tried to make him go cause I thought oh he'll have fun, but really if your 3 year old doesn't want a bunch of candy why would you make him??? So we stayed home and had homemade pizza and handed out candy to all seven trick or treaters that came to our house!

We all got into the spirit at the Trunk or treat (last weekend) Ramsey didn't have a costume so at the last second he said "Oh I could wear the skeleten shirt" and I instantly said YES cause now that means it's a costume right? hahaha my cute husband bought that shirt for real and I about cried when he tried to wear it, but now I am glad to say it is officially a costume. Ahh that is so Ramsey.

Lily the little kitty. When I was making this Ramz said "what is she?" and when I said a kitty he asked why she had a tutu? and I guess I don't really know except I thought it would be cute!!

There are not many things I love more than homemade sugar cookies. And I make dang good ones (Claudia Recipe) and yes I sent ramsey out at 10:00 at night to find me halloween cookie cutters... All I had were santa's and gingerbread men

One more funny thing... When we went to the trunk or treat Luke kept calling his candy bag his purse hahahah.

10-23-08

So I am officially moved in!! And yes I am admitting that it has taken me 2 weeks but we're talking EVERYTHING. I was mostly done fow a while but I still had those last few random things so do but now...nothing. And I must say moving everything you own 50 times has it's perks. I have gotten rid of anything I don't NEED and all my closets are extremely organized. And yes Lily has been a great help. Everytime she hears the dishwasher she comes running well crawling really fast to help unload it!

This is our backyard. And as you can see it is extremely easy to take care of. There is a sliding door in our living room that leads right onto this so it's actually really nice. All accept for Lily's obsession with eating leaves hmm....

So Luke and Lily say hi and they really want some visitors!!!

on the road again (10-16-08)

So I have debated just selling everything we own buying a van (ok I have one of those) but just live in it. Then every time we decide to move we won't go through all the hideousness (yes that's a word cause I say it is) of packing up and actually moving. Ahh my life is somewhat crazy but it's all good. We have now moved from Arkansas to Lexington Kentucky!! long story short there are 2 dental schools in the state and we are sure hoping that by getting residency here we will get into one of them. So we have moved and so far so good. Lexington is absolutely Beautiful!!

We enjoyed our short time in Arkansas and the friends we made. Luke keeps asking to go to his friend Cole's house and we are sad to leave our new friends the McKinneys but hopefully we will be getting a visit from them soon!! Poor Luke everyday he asks about one of his friends and it's hard to explain to a 3 year old that oh sorry Noah lives in Oregon and sorry Mia lives in Raymond and no I wish we could go to Pete's house (tear tear) And Sorry we can't go see Logan and Zep and Tom... So hopefully we can make some friends here soon so that he isn't always so confused. But he is getting better at talking on the phone so he can call Grandma and Grandpa!

So this move was extra crazy because we didn't have Ramsey's parents to help, and Lily the precious little Jem that she is would not let us put her down! she could tell that everything was crazy and she responded by wanting to be held the entire time we were trying to pack the truck. So Ramsey had her on his back for a good 3 hours going up and down the 2 flights of stairs to our appartment bringing me loads of stuff to pack into the truck. It was crazy and the Humidity did not help. I think Ramsey may have lost a few pounds that day he was a little bit wet by the end.

So Lily and I were loaded up in the van

And Ramsey and Luke drove in the "Big Truck" hauling the Yota. Luke loved it and he rode in it the whole trip. We only made it about 5 hours the first day, but we just stopped at a hotel for the night and went the rest of the way the next day.

The funniest part of the move was when we were packing up the house Luke would say "no that's my chair" or "no that's my Toy" But the best was when we were moving his matress he jumped up and dove onto it "Nooo that's mine" poor kid he's a little mixed up. So anyway we are here and we're excited about it! And we would love visiters!!

This Baby... (9-28-08)

IS CRAZY!!!

I just wanted to write a post all about our little Lily. Luke's turn will be next, but right now I have been feeling a little sad at the rapid speed that Lily is growing and changing. Baby's change so much the first year, and I feel kinda sad that nobody get's to see her grow up accept for us. So here are a few highlights of what our Little Lily girl is up to these days. Like I said she is crazy, or rather very energetic, she honestly never stops. Ramsey is always calling her the little party girl because she is always looking for the fun. She crawls everywhere and constantly pulls herself up on everything. Today at church she was entertaining all the people around us by literally trying to launch herself out of my arms and climb over the back of the bench to get to another baby she wanted to play with. Ramsey took her to Elders Quorum and she distracted the entire class by blowing raspberries rather loudly (Ramsey had to leave).

She is always following Luke around and wants to do whatever he is doing. Which usually results in Luke screaming "No baby Nooo" (we went through the phase of him pushing her over constantly, but after about a thousand time outs and finally a "Hurt Bumb" he has stopped and now just screams for me to help) This is Luke's Mater toy that he never plays with, but now that Lily likes it he always takes it and hides it in the kitchen.
She's discovered her love of all things messy

Her in her Princess Bed and above in her new Princess car seat. (watch she'll be a tom boy or something...my worst night mare) I love this picture because it is just a classic Lily smile...sooo cute

So I wish we could come home for a visit tomorrow but since Peter has not bought me my private Jet that he promised me...and I havn't yet figured out how to telaport home..this blog will have to do. I love you and miss you all especially the Grandma's
